I recently visited Hebden Old Packhorse Bridge and honestly, it was a huge disappointment. The drive to Hebden is quite scenic and there are some nice cafés around, but the bridge itself was nothing like what we expected. It’s just a very small, plain bridge with nothing special or aesthetic about it, and unfortunately, it wasn’t well-maintained — it looked quite dirty. The surrounding town also felt very small and a bit run-down, which didn’t add to the experience. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend visiting just for this attraction, as it didn’t feel worth the trip.

A picturesque stone bridge that spans Hebden Water, a tributary of the River Calder, right in the historic centre of Hebden Bridge. It was built around 1510, when the town stood on a major trade route. The three arched bridge is cobbled and quite steep to walk across, but there's a handrail on one side to make it easier! Lovely views of the river, town and surrounding hills from the parapets on both sides. It leads on to Bridge Gate, a busy little shopping area with some nice independent shops, cafes, and a small market on the car park every Thursday to Sunday. The steps leading down to the river are a good place to stop for a picnic and feed the ducks.

Beatiful family and child friendly English-UK Town. Loads of varied places to eat and drink out. Stayed at the Croft Mill serviced apts and they are great with loads of local food Milk, bread, cheese, gluten free, etc. Very nice and close to town. Ate at the White Lion, Marco’s cafe and Greek Aya Sophia. Lamppost cafe is also very nice, unique and cozy. Highly Recommend it.

A historic bridge restored in 2011. Located in the centre of Hebdon Bridge it is a popular centre of activity for relaxing by the river as well as a tourist attraction and a convenient predestination crossing. If in Hebdon Bridge stop by have a look at this historic bridge take in the often bustling atmosphere and scenic scenery and this busy duck location.

I'm not sure how you review a bridge, but Google asked so I will give it a try. It's a prominent landmark in a pretty market town, you tend to cross this either on the way to a couple of shops or before the climb up to Heptonstall (which is worth a visit and there is a bus service if you don't want to climb all those stairs and steep inclines). There is a fantastic view of the bridge behind the tearoom down the road and is a perfect picnics spot along the Riverside. Every year a duck race runs underneath the bridge which is pretty fun. Also there are no trolls or stout men with pikes underneath so it's goat and viking friendly.
