A real gem to be discovered in Old Town, close to Hebden Bridge. We visited spontaneously as part of the Hebden Bridge Open Studios weekend. Worth a visit!
A really lovely old chapel sadly in need of a good dose of TLC. The people there are fundraising to preserve the building so that it can remain a valuable asset for the surrounding communities.
Beautiful chapel. Open during the walking market of Old Town and Hebden Bridge Open Studios. The main room with wooden gallery is breathtaking.
Great place for intimate concerts. Parking is tricky..nearby streets only... and take a cushion. The pews are hard on the rear after a short while!
My husband is buried in the graveyard here. I have been visiting since 2005. It is a beautiful and peaceful resting place and where, eventually I will join him.
