Enjoyed a pleasant stroll in this peaceful, leafy little garden. The simple memorial, with its bronze plaque commemorating the servicemen of Hebden Bridge who gave their lives in both world wars, is just inside the entrance and is surrounded by well-kept flowerbeds. Dogs are allowed in the garden, and there are plenty of seats where you can picnic or simply enjoy the respite from the bustle of the town. From the back of the garden, a bridge with lovely views along the Rochdale Canal leads to a larger park with a children's play area, or you can take a walk along the canal towpath.
A beautiful, clean and well-kept garden. It's nice to stop for a moment to enjoy the place.
