My friend and I visited Heckmondwike library on Friday afternoon. We came on a pilgrimage for the day from Sheffield for my friend to revisit the town where she spent her childhood holidays staying at her aunt Emily's on Croft street. After looking around the town we visited the library and the Librarian was so very helpful finding us us some very interesting information about the old town.

I found them extremely helpful today when I rang up, just what I would have expected. Also when I lived at Hecmondwike they were just as helpful getting certain books I was looking for, and doing their job 100%. Keep up the good work.

Very helpful people in the library always happy to find out if books are available and to reserve them for you when available. They also have plenty of time to chat to the grandchildren about their choices.
