Met up with family after not seeing each other for a few years. Not sure if they do food here as we weren't eating whist there. Friendly, clean traditional pub. Landlady and her mum were lovely, they made us feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again the next time I'm in Yorkshire.
Found this pub by accident and would definitely go back again. Very reasonable beer prices and friendly staff. Is quite dated inside but I think that was part of its charm. A great down to earth pub, playing fab music.

On the 20/7/2022 at the night 2 disable man come in to the california Inn, for a drink, one of there local said get out off the pub because of walking stick(Broken Beack that's why )I decide the police I don't now how you doing this CALIFORNIA Inn is dealing with that,
What a lovely pub made my mum and I so welcome will be going back every week now for bingo with my mum xxxx
