Popped in on Wednesday lunchtime as I was visiting the area. Got chips with bits and baked beans and they were gorgeous. Best I have had in ages and they are proper Heinz baked beans too. What I liked was that they were proper, good old, traditional chips and bits and the lady even asked me if I wanted the bits on before or after the beans, which was great because I got them exactly as I wanted. Nice touch that she took the time to ask. Wish you were local to me and I can't wait for some more when I visit Heckmondwike again!

After last weeks debacle I was about to drive down to Shears fish and chip shop but decided to drive through Heckmondwike instead and see who was working in the chip shop, when I saw the lady from the week before I quickly turned and parked in Morrisons car park and walked up, when I got there the lady was just about to take chips and fish out of the fryers so couldn't get any better.the difference from the last week was unbelievable, absolutely superb fish,batter and chips.Go on girl.
