I recently had a negative experience with my order due to a mix-up and poor handling in-store. However, Ali from Dixy, who normally serves me and whose service I can’t fault in any way, personally reached out. He was extremely polite, understanding, and took my concerns seriously, assuring me the matter would be resolved properly. I really appreciate the professionalism and genuine customer care shown by Ali — it’s reassuring to see management take responsibility and maintain such high standards of service.
Unfortunately this place has gone down hill. Even though you phone your order in & are given a time they still don’t have your food ready. Staff attitude stinks. The main worker Ali is very good at his job the others just don't care. Avoid.Response to your reply your staff member said 15 minutes so I gave him 25 minutes extra 10 minutes & still my order was not ready & your staff attitude stinks. I use eat daily from your place up over the months it has started to go down hill. Burger Avenue down the road guys much better service & no attitude from the staff. & if they get it wrong they don’t charge you. Dixy is no longer an option for me as other people have said the same customer service is very poor & food quality has gone down. So my people who read this save yourself the headache & don’t use this place. They will say anything to look good.
If you’re ever stuck for somewhere to eat and don’t have cash or a card to withdraw cash, then don’t go to Dixy Heckmondwike. I was passing through the area and thought I’d pick up a quick bite for lunch. Unfortunately as with many people these days, I don’t usually carry a wallet but only my phone for contactless transactions. After placing my order I was told the establishment was a cash only business so I ended up having to leave empty handed. Very frustrating as I was an hour or so away from home. Rating is based purely on my experience and not on the food, as they do not offer an alternative method of payment to cash. Beware of this if ordering from here.
Food was great and everything piping hot and full of flavour , only downside is my friend was left waiting for 30mins.
Just grabbed a meal at Dixy's and wanted to give a shoutout to Ali! The fillet burger meal was spot on, really tasty. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, just how I like it. Ali was super friendly and helpful, made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the mood for some good fast food and great service!
