Walkley Lane cars

I reserve 5 stars for exceptional circumstances so I’m judging this out of 4 stars. And this company gets 2 as I can’t do 2.5 stars. We bought a Toyota RAV4 a few months back. The sale was fairly quick, so quick that documents and the spare key were not handed over. After being told they would send them to us and us even sending a stamped addressed envelope we were not sent the documents and spare key like we were told we would be. We are still waiting! If the key and documents turn up I will edit this review. Not only did this leave us annoyed that we can’t tell what work has been done on the car, we now do not have a spare key. They have them still, if they are not going to ever send them to us then they may as well put them in the bin. Such a waste! We did get a fairly good price on our PX though. Luckily the car hasn’t let us down as I could have foreseen issues if anything had gone wrong. We were in the market for another car and had 6k to spend but I wouldn’t personally buy another car from here.

Looks like this is 'Mustang Autos Limited' which don't exist by that name if you search them on Google, and the address listed is similar to this, but 29 instead of 299. Suspiciously all five star (presumably fake 'verified') reviews on Auto Trader.

Avoid this dealer - I bought a car here and took it to my trusted local garage for a check over. There were multiple problems so I brought the car back for them to fix it. In the end they agreed to refund the purchase. Months later, the refund hasn't appeared so I go to pick up my car, only to find out that it has been scrapped. They are not returning my calls and I now have no refund and no car. Reading the reviews here I see they all have similar stories. It's hard to believe there are still people this dishonest in the world.

I recently bought a car from these people. The car is ok, but the service was abysmal. There was a problem with the car which I offered to put right at his expense. He agreed but has not as yet paid me. He was not provided me with a receipt or warranty information. He never returns my calls and he makes promise which he doesn't keep. I paid full screen price for the car without haggling and in cash. I'm not happy and would not recommend anyone else to buy from here

Do not buy from these gangsters.. sold me a car. Paid £1000 deposit. The car was delivered to my door as agreed and it was not as described. Windows did not work. The screen did not work, turbo gone. No power in engine. Probably a hundred other things wrong with it. Bad paint job all over the car. More miles on it than advertised. I was not happy with the car at all. He agreed to refund me my full deposit of £1000 by 10am the next morning. We took him at his word. That was on tues 25th April. This is now 7th May and still no refund. Keeps making excuses and not answering my texts or calls. I have the right to a full refund if the car is not as described.. he won't refund the money. My next step is legal action.
