First time at Shades today after moving to this area and this is now my new hairdressing home. Rachel cut and blow dried/straightened my hair perfectly today and I am so happy with it. Rachel is lovely to have a chat with as well. Thank you 😊🩷

I had the best experience here… I was given a same day appointment which was so handy. Pam was so lovely and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. Pam layered and styled my hair even better than the inspiration photo i showed her! She also gave me some very helpful advice on the type of cut and how to style it. I am over the moon with my hair and i will be returning! I most certainly recommend!!

Been going to Shades since I was a baby! Rachel is a great hairdresser who always makes me feel comfortable and trims my hair to my liking (not too short!), puts my hair into dutch plaits and occasionally adds natural highlights to my hair too. Pam has also done up-dos and plaiting for events I have been to such as fancy dress parties and dance shows which have looked fab. Highly recommend - it is a clean salon and a relaxed yet friendly atmosphere.

I've had my hair done here a few times now and I have never been disappointed. The hair stylists are very experienced and if your unsure of what to have done they give good advice of what would suit your particular hair. Also very friendly staff and easy to talk to. I look forward to booking my next appointment.
