The Great Morrisons Lunchtime Mystery!! I go to Morrisons Heckmondwike nearly every day. My mission? A simple one, grab some chicken nuggets or strips, and those lovely cross-cut chips from the hot counter. You’d think at lunchtime, there’d be lunchtime food, right? Wrong. Almost every day at around 1:00pm, the shelves are empty not a nugget or chip in sight while four or five shelves of perfectly roasted chickens sit there!! So, like any hopeful (and slightly hangry) customer, I ask the staff when the nuggets will be ready. The reply? “About 30- 40 minutes.” Brilliant only problem is, my lunch break is 30 minutes long. I even raised it with the manager once, and for about a week everything was great, hot food, happy customers, the dream! But sadly, that golden age has passed. We’re back to the same saga. The staff seem to be a law unto themselves running their own timezone where lunchtime apparently happens sometime after 2pm. Please, Morrisons, bring back the lunchtime magic. I don’t ask for much just a few nuggets, some chips, and the chance to eat them at lunch. This Morrisons has gone downhill fast - we’ve been shopping here as a family for over 30 years and for the past year the staff are extremely rude , ignore you and tell you false information . The staff on the tills use their mobile phones while scanning your items. I had a lady last week on the tills finicking with a little phone and dropping it numerous times under the counter and it was a mess . I was told I was able to use a voucher and activated it . And told to go to the front counter and they’ll knock it off for me . The lady on the front desk was extremely ignorant and was making faces and took 10 minutes counting £4!! What a disgrace . I no longer shop at Morrisons and have gone to Tesco

Store always looks good fully stocked shelves and clean, flower display immaculate. Love the flow of the store. One disappointing visit today was the pizza counter, The one only staff knew I was there but was no acknowledgement from her, this led to me walking away from the counter quite disappointed, been in before and there’s been a lovely staff member on very assertive and pleasant I think she is Chinese, need more staff like her. Quick service at checkout staff member very efficient and smiley.

Bottom part of Morrisons carpark in Heckmondwike looks like the local tip disgusting with rats running around is getting worse not exactly what you want to see when visiting somewhere that sells food. Above the checkouts the spider webs looked like something out of an indiana Jones movie Come on Morrisons you can and should do better !

Ordered for 1hour slot. Delivered 2 hours late! Half of my groceries missing, and no sign of refund for extra delivery cost for 1hour slot or the missing items. I have to wait 72 hours then put a complaint in!!
