A fascinating building whose history can be read in stone by those who wish to see and understand. I love the old Priests door in the chancel. I just spent a few weeks drawing it (see photos, Can you spot the Dragon?)

Everyone before me has said it better than I will... but it IS really really beautiful. 12th century (building work started in 1190 A.D) so it's incredibly gothic and atmospheric - it really needs to star in a movie or 3! Warm and welcoming Lady and Gentleman of the cloth and lovely volunteers too. It's never bustling like some other churches and that makes it ideal for me. I'm not religious but I love visiting here, the sense of peace and love is all around you. And right now. we all need some of that.
