I'm sorry but cardinal sin for a chippy is to under cook chips!! I mean its not hard just let them brown! Over cooked meat and under cooked chips is just the worst. I cant handle that. Best thing bout this place is the footlong sausages. Please start cooking the chips and I'll come back. They also forget my scraps every single time! 3rd time on the bounce now
I have had fish and chips many times from here and ings. My son got 3 fish specials this evening and it wasnt the best. The chips were anaemic and were greasy and the fish batter looked like an oil change was overdue , lots of black bits in it. I was really looking forward to it too
Absolutely shocking the service we received tonight, was told no small or medium fish left only large so thats what we purchased! Both fish was tiny and hardly any chips with the special! Was rude when I was collecting Absolutely disgusting the customer service!
If your putting new staff in make sure they know what they are doing. My husband and for chips and peas in a tray. He was going to be charged an extra pound as they were going to put them in a box. The chips were cold and white no colour whatsoever. Peas were put in a pot in the tray instead of over the chips. How can you get this so wrong. Sorry but will go to Leadhams in future. Young people no common sense
