I’ve been shopping here for a few months & the homemade sourdough bread baked daily by Paul is delicious and a firm favourite with the family. I recently saw a pasta making class advertised on Facebook and had a fun 2 hours learning how to make fresh pasta in the shop yesterday evening. Was a great class and I learnt a lot. I’m looking forward to making more with the kids. Thank you!
I attended a pasta for beginners class in January 2026 and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, laid back, and fun, which made the class a real pleasure. I will hopefully be back for more soon! Additionally the ‘midweek meals’ on offer are sensational — highly recommend to all!
I could not recommend Apron Strings enough! I’ve taken two classes here and already looking forward to doing some more in the future. Paul is an absolute delight and is just as helpful as he is knowledgeable!
Phil and I went to the pop up restaurant evening on 02/07. The food was amazing and locally sourced. Paul, Jess and Ed were brilliant and explained what was in the dish and why - the team knew their stuff!! Would definitely recommend going to one of these events, but be warned you need to be quick.
Myself my wife and friends had an absolutely fantastic fun and informative morning learning how to make sourdough bread. I would certainly recommend joining Paul and his wife Jess for a sourdough workshopp experience and we can't wait to try the Pasta workshop in the near future. He's a photograph our first attempt. Does it get any better than fresh home-baked bread with a nice glass of beer?
