Sheffield Sling Library

Incredibly knowledgeable staff, super easy to chat to. A plethora of slings to try and little tricks and tips from Alex were so helpful regarding fitting and deciding if the sling will fit for our family. Separately, having a mare with feeding and Alex made me feel like I wasn't the only one, which I really needed to hear!

We attended the 4T and 5T courses, several library drop-ins and 1:1 consultations (in person and online) after the birth of our first baby. The team at the Sling Library have been absolutely wonderful on every occasion. They talked us through several carrier options, listened to our concerns, and gave us the confidence to carry our baby safely in all different kinds of settings and weather. The 4T and 5T courses were the absolute best thing to do in those first few weeks and months after birth. Would thoroughly recommend the Sling Library and the 4T/5T courses to any new parents!

We’ve had a couple of excellent and super informative appointments with Alix when our tiny baby was born and one when looking at different types as she grew. Alix took all the information in and helped us work out what was best for us and baby in a really accessible, helpful and unbiased way. We also cannot fault the excellent customer service afterwards either - always doing whatever they can to solve an issue (we had a sling return under warranty) keeping us updated and informed along the way. Cannot recommend enough!!

Had a 1 hour consultation with Alix as my partner and I wanted to understand and try out a specific carrier type (meh dai) and have a detailed explanation of what to do. Alix was great, really knowledgeable and helped us feel confident getting baby safely into the carrier! The fee includes 1 week of hire and we've enjoyed using the hire carrier since then, and have ordered our own. Thank you :)

Alex was absolutely brilliant at explaining and demonstrating a variety of products to meet our needs, of which we weren’t completely sure in the first place. Before the consultation, no idea. After the consultation, 2 confident new parents and a happy baby (& lots of walking!)
