Walked in and went straight to the bar. For a Saturday night, there wasn't many people in, even with a Meatloaf tribute act going on. This was about 9pm though. I asked for a pint of Carlin (no crisps) 🤣😂 and a double pink Gin and Lemonade. The bar staff didn't tell me there was an offer on with the doubles on spirits. 2 for £9. Paid just over £10 for the pint and the 1 double pink Gin and Lemonade. Found out about the offer after I had near enough finished my drink. I thought staff were supposed to make you aware of the offers they have available on drinks. I shouldn't have to find out off of a small chalk board. I couldn't see a price list either. The bar nan could do with a refresher course on their customer skills too. Quite sour faced to be honest. I've been in here before a few times but not for a good couple of years. Hasn't changed much. Not a place I would shout about and rush back to. Doesn't help when getting stared out by customers either. Left after 1 drink.

Not bad but a bit of a dodgy pub and should be cheaper considering the rough vibe there

Nice people and good atmosphere nice pub 👍🏻 Had funeral wake last Friday and the service was first class. The people there were so helpful. Louise and Anthony would like to thank you for everything you did. Absolute stars thanks for everything. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Arranged to meet up with people to celebrate what would have been my Dad's 70th in one of the few of his old locals still trading as a pub. Extremely quiet for a Saturday night with only a handful of people in. Granted it was bonfire night & they didn't have an event on so this could be why it was so quiet. Stepping inside the Earl really was like stepping back in time, the walls & woodwork had a fresh lick of paint. However, the upholstery & carpet are in desperate need of an update. The pub was clean & tidy, toilets were very clean too. The landlady was friendly & knowledgeable & there was a very good selection of drinks behind the bar. Atmosphere was totally what we made it due to the lack of customers or entertainment. It was sad to see a once bursting to the seams Earl Marshall basically completely empty on a Saturday evening, but I think that can be said of a lot of once popular traditional public houses.

Good pub, great staff and landlord, clean toilets (women's anyway 😂) Popped in Saturday night and my original post still stands. Been back today to request some help from Saturday night and the new landlord is so helpful. A real gem. Doesn't serve food
