Dysh Coffee & Kitchen

We were passing through Sheffield and I found Dysh whilst doing a search for brunch spots. The food was superb, everyone in my family enjoyed their dishes and the staff were so welcoming too. This is the kind of place I would recommend to people!

Can’t fault the food but overall a very strange experience. We arrived to be told we were sat in the Annex and then left to it. No idea where it was we had to ask again, and then had to find it by our own devices. Someone did come and help us find it when it was clear we were struggling to find it. The annex is bit of a strange room. More of an afterthought with a child play area included but it is what it is. We ordered food, and drinks. Everything tasted great, but our child’s drink had literal dirt/mud on bottom of the cup. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they immediately blankly said “do you want another one” with no apology, as if this was a normal occurance. Yes it’s only the bottom of the cup, but I’m not sure why mud was near any of the cups. Our daughter had already finished the drink when we saw it, We kind of just wanted to see that the staff actually care about it and maybe say sorry that we were served a cup with mud on it. After the meal the staff member took our child’s cutlery away, which we understand, accidents happens. But when I asked about it, I was just told “no we don’t have it” without any effort to check. I had to directly ask them to go and check, they found it immediately. The Staff member also stared at my wife as she was on the tip screen 😆 So strange. Very disappointed especially as this place was recommended to me.

Today we booked for Brunch. My husband had the Dysh cooked breakfast. His thought was, there's nothing much different you can do with a cooked breakfast....that was until he tasted it, his words...that Dysh breakfast was the best I've ever tasted 😋 I had Eggs Florentine, so tasty. Had a latte too and the coffee beans are delicious, absolutely can't wait to go back.

Wonderful tasty brunch for vegetarian and non vegetarian and vegan. Excellent big portion, make sure you havent eaten earlier and cooked to perfection. Coffee and tea really good and lots of choices Service was brilliant, really polite, helpful and accommodating. Very impressive. Nice atmosphere. Also bought a lovely takeaway banoffee flapjack. Will definetly go back here.

We had the most wonderful time at Dysh. I had messed up the booking for afternoon tea for me and my friends and it was the last table of the day. Dysh went out of their way to accommodate us the best they could, providing us with an afternoon tea of fresh baked scones, cakes and yummy sandwiches - the cocktails were pretty yummy as well. Thank you so much Dysh! I will make sure to specify afternoon tea next time. Highly recommend.
