I popped into the Malava cafe for a just a cup of coffee. I very rarely use caffès, being an health fanatic I cook all my own meals. No processed food. While I sat drinking my tasty cup of coffee I picked up a menu. I couldn’t believe the food they served. It was proper fresh food, just like the food I made myself. I ordered a protein packed breakfast. Sourdough bread, covered with lettuce, tomato, drizzled with xtra virgin olive oil. Topped with cottage cheese and a cooked egg. On the side a half sliced avocado, strawberries and blackcurrants.Presented to me with welcoming smile. The service is exceptional, quick and clean. The meal tasted gorgeous, it was real food very well prepared. A week later I went again, this time for a coffee and was tempted by their honey cake, it was so delicious, not too sugary like most cakes, my mouth thanked me for the rest of the day. Would I recommend them, definitely. I live in Doncaster, a visit to the Malava cafe is well worth the journey.

I’ve popped in a few times now and absolutely love it! The team are super friendly and welcoming, the coffee is spot-on, and the cakes are delicious. They actually do a lot more food than you’d think — the lunchtime meals are brilliant! It’s the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done on your laptop. Highly recommend!

Very nice new cafe. Good selection of lovely home made cakes, all day breakfast and great coffee. Good to have another independent local cafe (unlike the one next to the library - which it beats hands down).

The staff we're so helpful and friendly. I got some of their delicious homemade pierogies and cake to take away. I also tried the hot fruit drink which is delicious! Great new addition to Woodseats high street.
