India Garden

Let me start with saying I love Indian food and have struggled to find a good curry here in Sheffield since I moved I was sceptical to come to this place due to the reviews, but I wish I'd found out how great it was sooner. A friend of mine got some curries and now I have ordered a few times as well. They've been consistent every time (ordered takeaway that I picked up), quick to make and such flavourful delicious curry. I am so glad I've found my new curry restaurant and urge you all to try before judging the reviews!!

My partner (who is blind) and I went last Saturday for a meal. We got seated easily on a table for 4 so we had space . The service was friendly and helpful. We had starters and main courses from the Chefs Specials. The shared platter was probably the best we have ever had. The poppadoms were fresh and the pickle tray was delicious and generous. The main courses were really delicious too with generous portions. The rice and peshwari Nan was also very good. We were happy to have discovered it and look forward to going again. The prices seemed very reasonable and I think this particular meal deserves the 5 star ratings I've given it. My partner agrees and is rating it separately.

Best test experience with this indian authentic test.Specially for rice items. Curry’s are very cheapest price in all over the Indian restaurant. I suggest them personally 100%

Ordered 3 types of curry (3 different heats) so we could try something new. Curries were all put in different containers but were all actually the exact same & zero spice in any. Very small portions of rice, chips & curry (I would say around half the size of a takeaway container & twice the price!) We were the only 3 in the restaurant & we just felt like we were in the way. Shocking atmosphere & so over priced for to be honest quite poor food. What you see in the picture cost £60! I recommended it as it was an old favourite but wont be going again 👎

Since our favourite Indian restaurant (The Mangla) closed, we have been looking for a replacement. We tried 5-6 Indian restaurants, but we haven't found a good one until now! The Indian Garden in Sheffield is hands-down the best Indian restaurant we have tried! We started with poppadoms and a very generous pickle tray which was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the onion salad, chilli sauce and raita. All perfect! the Indian Garden Starters For 2, a sizzling hot platter that was an absolute delight. The chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and sheek kebab were bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection—truly excellent. For mains, we had the Chef’s special curries: the Chicken Karahi and Murgh Masala, both of which were delicious, rich, and packed with authentic taste. The pilau rice was light, fluffy and the Peshwari Na'an was a perfect compliment to the tasty curry. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided prompt, polite service. The restaurant has a nice relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We’ve found our new curry home and we will definitely be going back soon! Highly recommend Indian Garden.
