We went in for 2 pints of Guinness. The first thing we noticed was that it smells like a old folks home. I’ll give the red lion 3/5 for the Guinness. I’ve had worse and I’ve definitely had better. Over all still a better experience than the wood seats palace, spoons.
Thank you so much for accommodating us for our mums wake. The buffet was wonderful with a variety of sandwiches, savouries, chicken legs, fruit, cakes and more. Sarah looked after our every need. Very much appreciated 🤗
Great traditional pub. Good beer and honest food.
Great pub. Lots of old character, the staff were really friendly, as were the locals. Plenty of beer choice. Added to that there is plenty to do with pool, snooker and darts. Nothing to complain about at all.
One of the best pub environments ive ever been in. The people are friendly, the pub is spacious, got a great outside area. The staff and manager where so friendly i cant wait to go back again! They have a great selection of rums too! My christmas list sorted
