I sold my car to David & Oliver. Both treated me my circumstances with respect. Gave me the price over the phone and on seeing the car paid the same. No hassle , honest and trustworthy dealers. Nice to deal with a family business with honesty and trust at its heart.

Last week I decided it was time to sell our car. Something I had been putting off for months thinking it would be complicated. I contacted Abbeywood motors for a quote and received a phone call the next day. After a chat on the phone I decided they sounded very friendly and so I asked when they could come and see the car. They came at 1 o'clock the same day. By 2 o'clock the car was sold for a good price and I recommend them completely.

Good to deal with, no nonsense approach, they gave me a reasonable estimate of my car value over the phone, came to my home the next Day, price agreed money in my bank within a couple of minutes, all paperwork sorted and car driven away. No hassle, no nonsense, no silly offers below value, and no attempts to find faults to offer less money.

Absolutely appalling service. Spoke to a guy in the week after submitting my car for a quote. I was honest from the start, told him everything about it, including pictures of some cosmetics damage before on offer was even made. He reviewed all the photos and details about my car then offered me a price. We agreed a deal and arranged a collection time and day. I spent the whole days prior getting the car prepared and ready for him as well as reorganising my schedule to suit his collection time due to his drivers being off sick. The night before he sends me a text saying he's cancelling as he thinks he's offered me too much because of the damage. Even though I'd told him and showed him pictures before he even offered me a price, he changes his mind at the last second. Absolute joke of a company. Complete amateurs. Definitely avoid if you don't want your time wasted.

In the end I didn't actually sell my car to Oliver, however he was by far the most professional and easy to deal with. Oliver rang me at a time I asked for, came to my house to value my car, and talked me through the very simple process should I decide to sell it to himself and his Dad. As a youngish female I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or intimidated like other places I went to. Should I sell a car again in the future, or know of anyone who needs to, Abbeywood Motors would be the first place I would call.
