My 12.7 year old Boxer has been attending weekly pool sessions at Aquapaws for 3 months, to help with her Osteoarthritis and to build up muscle mass in her hind legs - after weight loss. The first time at Aquapaws included a 'get to know you and your dog' session, which gave Roxy the opportunity to explore her surroundings, sniff the new smells, and meet the team and for me to talk about Roxy's needs and her temperament. Not being a natural water baby, having never been swimming before and she jumps over puddles in the street, she was a little unsure at first and was reluctant to get into the pool, but Hannah and Maria made her feel super safe and were really encouraging. They gave Roxy the time she needed to feel comfortable, not just in the water but with new people handling her. It’s always a positive experience at Aquapaws and we’ve never had any issues, each week when Roxy attends her sessions she gets lots of attention and fuss and they’re always really supportive and careful not to push her. Roxy’s favourite part of her sessions is the walk down the ramp to tap Hannah for the treat jar (of course), she puts on her best puppy dog face and Hannah melts every time. She not only has me wrapped round her paws, but the Aquapaws ladies fall for it every time too! Roxy always smells lovely after her swims and they seem to give her a new lease of life; a recharge - She gets so excitable! My vet has commented a couple of times that she can see her muscle definition again and the weight is increasing very slowly. Aquapaws are always accommodating and good at communicating, sometimes bringing our late appointments forward. A huge thank you to all of you for being so lovely to Rox and for treating her with respect and like one of your own, she really does get excited to see you each week. See you Tuesday. Cannot thank the whole team at Aquapaws enough for all the amazing work they've done with helping our 8 year old husky malamute get back on her feet (quite literally!) The difference we've noticed in Mishka since beginning regular sessions has been incredible; family and friends have all commented on how fantastic she looks now! Since starting hydrotherapy Mish has more energy, lost weight, we can now take her on longer walks (which used to be literally 5 minutes) and she's completely off her painkiller medication now. And it's all thanks to Aquapaws! 1000% recommend! Xx

Took my dog today for the first time for some swimming and it was absolutely fantastic! My dog is very nervous but he needs swimming to benefit his weight loss as advised my my vets. The staff were incredible annd friendly and soo patient with him. He absolutely loved it , he was soo happy afterwards and it did him soo good ! Cannot wait for his next session :)

We took our puppy for the first time and didn’t know what to expect! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, that he went straight in! Thank you so much, we’ve already booked his next session!
