Irresistible GF VE traditional bread Absolutely stunning quality, quality I miss in England!! I buy bulk quantities of Oat and Multi seeded bread that is gluten free and vegan friendly, and that tastes absolutely irresistible. I freeze them and defrost them as I go, and warm them up in the oven, no loss of quality. Also this bakery does Vegan gluten free cheesecake to die for! Not overly sugary like in most places. Feels like like a mousse. Can't recommend ENOUGH 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I always get my bread from here, we're lucky to have this place in Woodseats. Love the trinity sourdough loaf. The cardamom doughnuts, jam piggies and the salmon pastries are also favourites

Welcome Cafe Nort to Crookes!!! Loving the cardamom/cinnamon pulla, especially slightly warmed up with a cup of tea .... and the almond toska slices are lovely on a winter's night at home with some custard too! Plus the piggies....all lovely bakes!

Finnish baked food is amazing, and I’m really pleased that Cafe Nort has provided a convenient option for the UK which never used to exist. Here’s my guide to how it works in Sep 2023: I sometimes order batches online with tracked chilled delivery - a service I highly recommend. The products can be ordered in bulk, with discount. Most products can be frozen, and after thawing will taste fresh and soft after a few seconds in the microwave The woodseats branch is a bakery with a counter. There’s always stuff available straight out of the oven which is running constantly. The main options are cinnamon buns with cardamom, loaves, and a selection of other sweet and savoury baked goods. There’s also imported sweets, chocolates (Fazer is great milk chocolate), and coffee. The loaves are made with Finnish sourdough and/or rye which is different (and superior in my opinion) to UK options. Some of the previous day’s unsold buns are sold at a discount. Remember to check the opening hours as it’s a family business and they close in the afternoons. More ‘obscure’ Finnish stuff like Karelian pies can be preordered from the online menu, otherwise it may not be available. The online menu is currently published via a mailing list and on their FB, and is updated seasonally. The upcoming crookes branch will be a sit down cafe and I really look forward to visiting when it’s open.

Lovely little bakery. I really enjoyed my rye bread. The man was very helpful in recommending what toppings or fillings to have with it. I hope to visit again many more times.
