If you're looking for a women’s only gym , I can’t recommend The Stalls enough. They offer small group personal training in Sheffield that is perfect for anyone, whether you're a seasoned gym-goer or, like me, someone who had never set foot in a gym before. The atmosphere here is fantastic—it has a real community vibe that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. As a first-time gym-goer, I was a bit apprehensive, but George and Jane put me at ease straight away. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always on hand to offer guidance and support. The focus on women’s strength training is brilliant. The classes are challenging but so rewarding, and I’ve seen huge improvements in my strength, confidence and physique. The small group sessions are really great, they allow you to work at your own level & pace while still being pushed to achieve your best. If you're thinking about starting your fitness journey or taking it to the next level, The Stalls is the perfect place to do it.

The Stalls is a brilliant place to improve your fitness. George is an excellent trainer, he knows how to gently push you without ever making you feel totally out your comfort zone. I was pretty worried when I first joined as I knew I was very out of shape but George adapts things so you can manage them and before long you can keep up with everyone else. Having an all female clientele gives a totally different atmosphere to other gyms. The small groups mean you have a chat and a laugh between exercises so going never feels that much of a chore. A year on and I can feel the benefits of being stronger every day. My balance is better, I move better and I can see and feel muscles I never had before. I would really recommend the Stalls to anyone of any level who wants to improve their fitness and strength, it really works. I’m so glad I joined.

The Stalls Gym who provide Personal Training for women near me and specialise in Women’s Strength Training in Sheffield, has honestly transformed my fitness, body and overall life confidence. I feel healthy, supported, strong and focused with a fun and ease that I have not experienced before. One to one suits me at the moment but I know from friends the group classes are brilliant too.

Great place with a fantastic trainer. George is very welcoming and friendly, I always enjoy the group PT sessions. He is also great at adapting exercises as needed. I trained throughout my whole pregnancy and I genuinely believe it was the main reason for a smooth pregnancy and recovery! If you're like me and just can't stick to training on your own in a big gym, then I highly recommend The Stalls Gym!

I love this gym and George who runs it! I'm NOT an experienced gym goer but wanted to get stronger and fitter after having children so looked for something involving some personal training for women near me. I started coming to small group personal training here just over a year ago and have enjoyed it immensely. I am also stronger and fitter! The classes and varied and interesting, it's very well kitted out and there's a real mix of women using it, some very active and others just trying to keep on top of basic fitness, but we're all different and everyone is so friendly and encouraging it's a joy.
