We are a family run B&B, and look forward to offering you a very warm Yorkshire welcome. We do everything we can to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay without being intrusive. Whether visiting York for business or pleasure, we offer you a home from home, where you can unwind or explore our lovely city and beyond.

Pinfold Cottage is a pretty 19th Century cottage, built circa 1865 that has been sympathetically restored and decorated. You will be close to York University, Science City York, York Racecourse, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet and Fulford Imphal Barracks.

We are on a main bus route into York, and the buses stop regularly, right outside our door. Or you can enjoy a pleasant riverside stroll onto the centre, 1.5 miles away. We have a private, off street car park where you can leave your car whilst you enjoy the City on foot.

We offer all guests use of our free Wifi, and there is no charge for parking.

Breakfasts are locally sourced, and we can cater for any additional needs you may have e.g. gluten free, fat free, vegetarian

The Cottage is built on the Site of The Battle of Fulford (1066). This is often referred to as the ‘Forgotten Battle’ but was a crucially important fight for King Harald that preceded The Battle of Stamford Bridge, and the Battle of Hastings.
