Darleys is a great place friendly staff great food and quick service with a smile they never fail to impress me and my family whenever we come in for a meal or a drink it’s a great environment with friendly staff, the atmosphere is just perfect and there isn’t a better local pub around

Went for a burger on Friday as we had enough Christmas food and wanted something we knew was good After many visits here I was so disappointed with my burger it was in edible . I cannot believe they tried to pass this over to a customer ,it was so burnt you couldn't taste it however after I took it back they replaced it that wasn't much better either . I wrapped my burger up and left . I won't be coming back one bad meal puts you off . They wasn't many people in i would say 10/15 so its nit like they was rushed not that it should be an excuse for poor food .

Avoid chicken! It used to be very nice but now it's unsuitable for eating. Looked cooked but was pink,smelly and tasting bad. Had to tell the staff, they couldn't replace so we had to leave it. We were told by staff it comes SLIMY from the supplier, ther were not surprised about our complaints. Shame really, it used to be a descent pub.

I haven't been to eat here in years! It was a really nice atmosphere, I found a table with no issues and asked a member of staff if they catered for Coeliac's. I was given a tablet and after I selected Gluten it provided me with a list of meals I could eat gluten free. From front of house staff to the kitchen staff the care they took to ensure there was zero contamination was incredible! I felt so at ease eating my meal (smothered chicken), the lovely chef brought it to my table, my cutlery had been sanitised separately and I had absolutely no effects at all. My only minor problem was the chicken, for me, was too wet and I did not like the sloppy texture, it was taken back and instead of steaming it they grilled it and it tasted far better. I asked if I could request it grilled in the future and was told that if the grill wasn't been used at a busy time (to ensure no cross contamination) they would accommodate me. A special shout out must go to our server, I'm so mad I forgot to get her name, but she will know who I mean if she sees this review. You were absolutely 'on point' with your customer service, kind, considerate, fantastic to my children and they are lucky to have you. I look forward to eating here again in the future, you should all be applauded in your knowledge of gluten intolerance and allergies. UPDATE JULY 2022 They have a FULL GF menu! And it's amazing! SO much choice and I will 100% be back. Service as always was spot on, they can not do enough for you.

Dirty tables not wiped, main meals came 15mins apart meaning we couldn't wait to eat together, food room temperature, poor quality, one sausage well cooked another looked boiled, chicken definitely boiled in a bag. Just not good and wouldn't recommend.
