First time trying China Garden after dropping our son off in Hessle and honestly… it’s the best Chinese takeaway we’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked exactly how it should be. The special chow mein was nicely dry (as it should be) wet is an option but our taste is dry noodles, the salt & pepper king prawns were spot on, so much flavour, the chicken in chilli honey sauce was amazing, and the chicken fried rice was cooked perfectly. Also, the mixed pancake roll is huge, one is easily enough for two. Front of house lady was really friendly and chatty, which is always a nice touch. Great value for money, great food, and we both said we’d happily travel 25 minutes to collect again. Highly recommended. 👌🥡

Polite genuine customer service and the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had!! Everything was piping hot and delicious even though we were probably the last order of the night. Highly recommend and this will be our local for Chinese takeout.
The best £7.50 I have spent in months. Great friendly service, very customer oriented (as you'd hope all shops were). Food was prepped in very good time and my Sweet n Sour chicken balls with Special fried rice was bloody gorgeous. Called here on a recommendation from local neighbourhood site and so glad I did.
