Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Hessle

SUCH AN INEFFICIENT, CLUELESS, UNORGANISED COMPANY that I will never use again. Drivalia and Sixt are x100 times better. TRUST ME, AVOID ENTERPRISE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! I made a car booking with a debit card online, Enterprise phoned me back and said they only accept same day bookings without a credit card and I will receive a refund within 10 days. That was over 40 days ago and Im still waiting. They said every time I phone asking why I have nt received my money they will add another 10 working days to the wait! They said that the issue is being sorted out in USA even though the booking was in the UK. Absolutely uselass. Never again!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I booked a van for the following day and paid online. I then received a phone call and was informed that they did not have a van of the size I wanted available (needed a large van for a house move). The Enterprise person then said I would receive a refund as they didn't have the van available. However, I was later informed that I needed to request the refund online, as I made the booking online. When requesting the refund I was charged £40, as the cancellation was within 72 hours of picking up the vehicle. So, I was charged £40 for the privilege of Enterprise taking a booking, and then cancelling it because they didn't have the van available. If you are in or near Hull, go to Foxy Rentals instead. They are cheaper and a far better helpful service!! I say again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY (Enterprise) Follow-up to the response from Enterprise. @Natalie - I contacted your customer helpline as suggested and still no better. I was promised that this would be investigated and that I would receive a refund of the costs. However, I have still not heard any further feedback, and still not received any refund. Very Poor customer service!!

We had a weekend in scotland and sadly on the Sunday our train had been cancelled .Enterprise at Edinburgh train Station where fantastic and arranged hire car and for us to be able to drop off in Hull. Both sites do helpful organised and friendly service. We would highly recomend them and use them again so thankyou for getting us home.

Walked in to the Hessle branch to ask for quotes for van hire next week. The salesman did not even get up from his desk and come over to speak to us, nor ask any more details of what I actually required. Simply said that all large vans were booked out. Felt a lot like they didn’t want the custom at the end of a day on a Friday.

Car not ready for the agreed time of collection. Car was not clean , door seals hanging off on rear doors , when this was pointed out managers reply was “that’s how it is”. manager tried to sell extra insurance for £265 when the hire was less for the week. Manager was then very unprofessional, rude and dismissive of any questions. Was told I would be charged £2200 if the car came back with as much as a chip in the windscreen. We drove car home and it was parked for most of the week as had no confidence I wouldn’t get ripped off. The only good experience was the young lady who accepted the return. Maybe the manager should be made to shadow her for a few days to learn polite customer service . I do not recommend hiring a vehicle from here . Reply to your response Enterprise.
