AVOID AVOID AVOID. Took my car in for its mot. It failed on the exhausted fumes (fair enough, but not a dangerous fault) but they also said both brake lines were leaking at the joint (which they quoted me £300 to fix saying it was "too dangerous to drive"). Luckily my dad is a mechanic so I got a second opinion from him. There was and is nothing wrong with the brakes, as proven by 3 different mechanics and a difference mot test centre. After some work on the exhaust its flown through it mot with no advisories. They worded it as though they would be doing me a favour by giving me the brake pipes for free and "just charge for labour" on a job that didn't need doing and no doubt if I left the car with them they would have done nothing and just pretended they had fixed the "damaged" part and pocked £300. I wouldn't recommend savoy tyres to my worst enemy. I do recommend hookems in hessle instead. Since the garage was so nice to respond. I stated that I accept the exhaust failure and never contested that. What I contest is the lie that my brake were leaking. They were not. I have had nothing done to the brakes because there is nothing wrong with them. I wasn't quoted £300 for all. It was £300 to fix a problem with the brakes that didn't exist. So either the MOT testers are incompetent or liars. I've since spoken to others who have had issues with different branches of Savoy trumping up issues with cars. I absolutely accept the failure for the exhaust fumes (now rectified) and the lamp as they are DVSA standards. I object to adding fake issues to the mot to earn more money from "repairs".

My car broke down today and had 2 issues. A faulty battery that gave up and a nail in my tyre. Got the RAC out and ended up driving straight to savoy after a jump start. Took my car in with maybe 10 minutes notice and were friendly and helpful, I spoke with Tom who was lovely ! I was contacted before anything I'd need to pay for was done and my car was back with me 4 hours later. Amazing service, especially considering such short notice and miles cheaper (£150) compared to what I was quoted by the RCA. Thankyou Tom

I use on most occassions for car repair/MoT etc. Today I called as a tyre valve snapped whilst filling with air. From call and limping to garage, to driving away all sorted, 1hr despite being busy. Great value, communication and Customer Service. Trustworthy. Cheers.

These guys are really helpful. They diagnosed a problem with my brakes , ordered spares and fixed it for me. Very efficient and very pleasant . They even said I could call back when they were not so busy to have my wheel cleaned. Top class

The Manager took care of what i needed quickly and easily even when they were really busy. I’ve always had good service no matter which Savoy centre I’m at.
