Mr Pipes Plumbing and Powerflushing

Chris ('Mr. Pipes') is an excellent plumber, at once highly skilled, very careful and very conscientious. His prices are also extremely reasonable. On the basis of our experience over the last few years his plumbing services can be recommended without any hesitation.

I’d been having issues with several radiators not working and others working poorly. Chris power flushed my system but it only partially helped. He returned for a two day period to completely flush each radiator in turn until he finally cleared all the blockages. He worked tirelessly to sort out the problems and my system is now working perfectly. Every radiator is red hot and working as it should. I cannot fault his work ethic and he worked tidily and cleaned up after each visit. Highly recommended.

Have used Chris a few times before for maintenance/repairs on an older boiler and then more recently for fitting a brand new boiler. Chris is punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable, if you're looking for a plumber then Chris is a great choice.

Truly amazing service, 4 weeks before Christmas 2022, British Gas "serviced" the boiler, 4 hours later it stopped working, earliest they could/would come back was two days later, ignorant gas engineer said it was nothing to do with him , and they wont flush radiators. Booked Chris in to give the whole system a flush, he arrived at 8 am and finished just after 3 pm. The water that cam out of the radiators was black, full of rust and debris, he uses a magnet to trap the metal and it was incredible what was been flushed out. The system is working again and it has never worked so good, terrific amount of heat now from all radiators, so much so we have been able to turn the boiler settings down and also the thermostat in the hall. The three weeks with NO HEATING thanks to British Gas were horrendous. Chris was on time, didn't make a mess and did a first class job for a realistic price. Cannot recommend him enough.
