I took my watch in for a battery replacement on a Saturday and because it had screws in the back was told it would be ready Monday! Wasn’t ready on the Monday so went back on the Wednesday to be told the screw was seized and would have to be sent to the workshop so I decided I wouldn’t bother as I didn’t believe her. I took my watch to the watch and clock hospital on Carr lane Hull and they replaced my battery in 3 minutes so I will be going here in future and not a con artist.

Lovely helpful and attentive staff, I bought a pendant for my daughter and had it engraved, really quick service and very pleased with the quality. Also have had watch batteries and a watch strap fitted here while I waited very good quick service for repairs never had any issues

Went in this shop today for a new battery for watch. When my mum said she thought the face was a bit steamed up the lady took her tissue from out of her sleeve and spit on it and wiped the watch face. She then spit again and wiped the winder. We did get the new battery put in. We were so shocked and never said anything. My mum put her watch in her pocket saying she will have to disinfect it. She’s 94 and said she’s never seen anything so disgusting.

Did repair efficiently but very expensive - nearly £40 to adjust two watch straps and failed to notice that one of the watches needed a new battery too so now I need to go to another shop to get that done!
