What a fabulous day, from the woodland walks to the foreshore a lovely place to visit. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to adventure with the kiddies. It was cold but the sun was out. Good facilities at a couple of sites and an easy walk down from the free car park. Very accessible footpaths with seating along the way. All in all what a treat can’t wait to go back. The Young’n approved too didn’t moan once - not even when she got stuck in the mud.
Lovely to see the christmas tree at the top of the Humber Bridge and to have a christmas day walk across the bridge. Lots of rubbish around which was disappointing. If you go here when its too dark there are lots of nocturnal activities which you probably don't want to go anywhere near, but its nice that the youth of Hessle are so well acquainted with one another.
What a lovely surprise of a place! Unfortunately was on my way home so couldn't spend much time there but will be back when the weather is better! Cracking all day brunch as well 👌
Free car park from Hull side. Clean and a lot parking space. Beautiful views. It's worth every step i make walking there!
Took our cycles to Humber Bridge to cross the worlds longest designated cycle path on a bridge. (N1) A fantastic experience. Good provision for food either side of the bridge. Whilst you have your bike plan another day's trip on the Hull to Horsea cycle path (N65.) You will have a great two days. We also found an amazing Guest house at Barton upon Humber. No further details otherwise there will be no room for us.!
