Booked a single room for 2 nights. Parking is good . Its a 25 min walk to the middle of york. The rooms are located over the pub to the main Street, so it can be noisy on some nights. The access to the rooms are up an old fire escape so its no good for anyone with a disability. The rooms are basic and in need of decorating. The mattresses are old and knacked . I paid for 2 nights and decided not to stay the second night as I didn't get any sleep due to being to uncomfortable. The pub itself has a friendly atmosphere and the staff are helpful
