Had the traditional breakfast served in a bowl (for some reason); sausages under done, both poached eggs hard, 1 slice of hard toast for extra pound: 12.25 in total with coffee. Quiet weekday morning, so pleasant ambience, with free papers to read. Would go back and try a cheaper offering, hopefully with greater attention to detail on food items.
Appalling keeps closing due to staff shortages New staff are untrained . Don’t clear tables
Food and drink is nice, though higher price than a usual supermarket as expected for Waitrose. Lady serving us wasn't rude, but didn't seem overly keen to listen to our whole order before disappearing to make the first hot drink for us, so it ended up taking some time to order something relatively small.
Good coffee, just very slow service and no one clearing tables. I cleared a table myself. No signs asking clients to clear when they leave
Just discovered the cheese and caramelised onion toasties! Lovely. Always good service, great snack stop.
