Lovely first time visiting Cavo - quiet 10am weekday breakfast. Delicious food, beautiful strong coffee, fast service, welcoming staff, and lovely modern Portuguese interior/decor and tableware - reminded me so much of my last trip to Porto! Will definitely be back one evening after eyeing up the Super Bock & Guinness on tap, and lots of lovely wines! Great facilities - gender neutral ‘all-in’ washrooms, high chairs, outdoor seating, dog friendly. No parking available on site, but hayley’s terrace just past the roundabout has free on-street parking, alternatively it is on a direct city centre bus route with stop just outside.

Had a delicious lunch - lovely setting on a summer’s day, right on the doorstep of the city centre. No vegan options on the menu but the lovely chef made us two excellent dishes - really fresh high quality ingredients. Would welcome vegan pastries to have with future morning coffees there! The cafe is dog friendly inside & out :)

Situated infront of the converted Cocoa Works and adjacent to Joseph Rowntree Theatre. Cavo is a delightful cafe. We stopped by for coffee, but were surprised by the fact there were no menus, despite the fact that they evidently serve food, and alcohol for that matter. Seems they rely on people knowing what is on offer. Similarly, we discovered that they also sell cocktails. Only the coffee menu was on public display, and the coffee was very enjoyable. Will definitely return. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.

Wife had an appointment nearby, thought I'd pop in with my little one for a drink and snack... absolutely zero parking onsite or nearby. Don't bother unless you are in walking distance. Dozen empty spaces at the marketing suite btw.
