Had Sunday lunch here. I ordered the beef and my partner had the lamb, mine had to be gluten free, the staff understood this and I only had to miss out on the stuffing and yorkie! The dinner was absolutely beautiful. All of it spot on, the gravy was gorgeous! The whole atmosphere in the pub was really inviting and warming. Will definitely be returning! 👏
I can highly recommend the Sunday lunch. It was tasty, well cooked and presented and exceptional value for money. We will definitely be back. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Scott, Chloe and the whole team for such a wonderful afternoon
Really looked forward to a Pub Grill. There was no ribeye at 5pm! Settled for the rump but a medium rare looked rare and stringy. 3 tiny onions Rings that could fit in my finger as my wedding ring!!!!! Disappointing to say the least! Otherwise the atmosphere was great and friendly!
Had a great meal with friends last night, the chunky chips were delicious :)
The Walnut Tree is a modern pub. There's a nice lounge and a rear bar with TVs showing sports. There's a wide no pool table or dart board. Does a variety of beers lager and cider, but sadly, no hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is a large outside beer garden with a covered area.
