The Green is becoming my favourite cafe! The owners are lovely and always greet us and our pup with a big smile. Coffee is great and food is fantastic! Slowly making my way through their menu. Had the ricotta, honey and blueberries on sourdough today and was delicious. The pup also enjoyed some complimentary bacon! They also do amazing scones, cream tea, and cakes! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
We only live up the road and our neighbourhood cafe had been taken over a while ago. I expected not much but the (Monmouth) coffee is competing with the best coffee in town and the tea loaf was absolutely delicious. I have seen the smashed avocado/roasted tomato sourdough toast on another customer's table and it looked a 5* taste experience. Really friendly and gentle owners, too!
Decent coffee in this quaint cafe off the beaten path. Ordered the scrambled eggs for breakfast. Personally I would have preferred them a bit creamier, but overall they were correct. Nice staff.
If you don’t mind a short walk out of town, this little café is so worth it..! The brunch menu is fantastic — everything tastes fresh and homemade. We had the truffle mushroom (yummms!!🤤🤤) and Bagel with salmon. Their coffee is top-notch too — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care.
An absolute gem of a café! The Green Clifton is warm, welcoming, and full of charm. Rui and Mia are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they genuinely go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. The food is outstanding quality – the cheese and ham toastie with salad and crisps was honestly one of the best I’ve had, fresh, tasty, and perfectly done. Even our dogs were welcomed in and treated to some cream to lick, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s the kind of place you instantly want to come back to. Couldn’t recommend it more highly! 🐾
