Went here for the first time today and Sharon did my cut. She made me feel so welcome and gave good advice when I was undecided. The cut is lovely and the salon atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed. Prices are fab too. Thanks so much Sharon x

Just returned from the most painful experience at a hair salon. First started with a very rough hair wash, I thought maybe they are just working the product out of my hair, then to the chair where a comb was pulled through my hair pulling at my scalp, I thought this was strange but didn’t last long. Didn’t think much of the pulling during the cut as this happens and I just grin and bare it but then it came to blowdrying, my gosh this was painful, pulling through knots as if there was none, pulling so hard on my scalp it was throbbing, a few winces and ‘oww’s’ later I couldn’t handle it anymore so stopped midway through, paid and left. In my experience you should not be in pain after a hair cut, and definitely not for a period of time afterwards! I will not be returning to this salon, and if you have thick curly hair which gets knotted naturally I would recommend you don’t either!

Normally go out of York for hair cut and decided to try this place out after seeing the business from the bus stop. Brilliant hair cut and lovely staff will use this place again.
