Huntington Road - The Pharmacist

I went to get an emergency supply of antibiotic eye ointment today (Christmas Day). They were open for 2 hours. The shop was quiet so I didn't have to wait long. The assistant was very helpful and sorted my transaction out in no time at all. A former Lloyds pharmacy store the building hasn't changed much but it is huge need of a paint job. It looks really tired now. There is a ramp outside for full disabled access. Overall a good visit.

Twice I have been to pick up a prescription and both times the item has been out of stock. How difficult is it to send a message or call to say .. don’t waste your time coming, as we don’t have it in. The 1st time , the lady took my number and said she would call when they had stock. they didn’t and as a couple months had passed i had to go through the drs again. absolute shambles.

Poor service. Was told today would have to wait 30 minutes for prescription as they were so busy with Covid injections- there was no one waiting!! Did not have full amount of one of the items co- codamol which I would have thought of as common place. Went in two days ago GP had sent script - new meds for me was asked when I wanted to collect them - erm now. Young man who works there has absolutely no personality and is borderline rude. Badly run and organised. Only go there as it is my nearest chemist.

Staff could not have done any more for me. They went above and beyond when I was extremely stressed. I took a script in for my dog as she is on a medication also for humans. I was taken away from the main room so I could discuss my options as this was the first time for me getting a script filled for my dog. I then sat in the car with my dog so we could have the air-conditioning on. They came out when the script was ready and I went back in to pay.

The most incompetent and slow pharmacy ever. They never have the correct medication and there are always so many errors with prescriptions.
