A Mediterranean/Middle Eastern shop close to the university of York, where I expected to find more variety. I went there hoping to buy items that are usually difficult to find in other shops, but I couldn’t find a whole, large chicken, only very small birds. It’s a shame, as the shop should offer more traditional products alongside Middle Eastern staples. The meat prices were also quite expensive compared to other supermarkets.

Big selection of food from around the world. Mainly Asian (all over Asia) but Eastern European too. The shelves are crammed together and packed full of choice. There is a Halal butcher and they have fresh samosas and baklava. Otherwise it's tins, jars of sauces and packs of rice and so on. That just leaves the fresh veg, both British and from around the world.

Excellent selection of South Asian/Middle Eastern produce. One of the few (only?) places in York that sells fresh curry leaves, fenugreek leaves, fresh green almonds, and sour green mangoes, to name a few.

Bought a packet of onion powder, black peppercorns and curry leaves. £12.40 felt very expensive. Gulabjammon £1 each! Will be going to Zam Zam in future.
