We stayed here for a short city break. To start with the positives: - 10-15 minute walk to the city centre - Reserved parking space for 1 vehicle (directly below kitchen window which was handy for checking on) - Asda literally across the road which had all the necessities plus lots more (by that I mean bevvy) 😁 - The apartment was a nice size. Big enough for a family of four. - Decent broadband in the flat, I recorded 74mbps at it's fastest. - Bath and electric shower (no bathmat though which was a tad slippy for the kids) - Plenty of storage in the apartment - Lots of locks on the front door so very secure at night / when in property. - Lots of toys and books for the kids which was a bonus. Now the negatives: - The flat could do with a little TLC. I appreciate from a cost effective perspective it is not possible to keep it perfect, but it could certainly have benefitted from a lick of paint. - Was not the cleanest. Fan in bathroom was thick with dust. Glass chopping board had dried food all over it. Under the sofas was pretty dirty too (only discovered because a toy rolled under them). - The sofas were disintegrating. There were throws over them but they kept slipping off and looked very tatty. - DVD player didn't work

Loved it! Amazing place, although the WiFi connection wasn't working. Close to shopping areas, and a walking distance from the minster. Really great! It was a fantastic choice. My family and I had an unforgettable time in York.

Though I love the residents, I wouldn't want to live somewhere with paper-thin walls and no lift.
