We stayed here for 2 nights. 10 minute walk from Minster so ideal location to centre. Lovely beautifully clean rooms. Everything we needed. Beautiful breakfast and fab hosts. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for hosting us x
Excellent Guest House! Been going to Kevin and Vals guest house for over 20 years. Close to York Centre so ideally located. Guest house, home from home! You are made to feel so welcome, and they do fabulous breakfasts! You won’t be disappointed x
We can highly recommend the Foss Bank Guest House. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The hosts Val and Kevin are very helpful and friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms are spacious, very clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired with good quality local products. If we were to come to York again, we would definitely stay here again. Secure parking is available. We had a lovely, and far too short, stay at the Foss Bank guest house. The room was bigger than I’d imagined, the bed was super comfortable and it was very well appointed. It was a quick 10min walk into the town centre, and Kevin and Val were very helpful with suggestions of where to dine. We’d love to return and spend more time in York, and we would definitely stay here again.
A perfect Victorian guest house, spotlessly clean & beautifully presented. Excellent hosts. I had Room 1 at the front, there is some road noise until later in the evening. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Beautiful artwork around the house & rooms. A 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of York. Parking available if prebooked. There are steps up at the front & the back.
