York City Knights are North Yorkshire’s premier professional rugby league club and currently participate in the Betfred Championship in one of the best stadiums in Rugby League.

The club have moved into our new state of the art LNER Community Stadium facility recently and are looking forward to a great future in it. The 8,500 capacity stadium features first class hospitality facilities. The site boasts a leisure complex including swimming pools, a cinema, bowling alleys and retail/restaurant opportunities for all to enjoy.

Alongside our Mens’ team, the Knights also boast Ladies and Disability teams who compete in the Betfred Women’s Super League and Community Integrated Care Super League competitions respectively.

The club are one of the shining lights of the sport in the UK, with a flourishing off-field operation which encompasses the York City Knights Foundation which offers programmes and activities to people of all demographics across York and the wider North Yorkshire region.

With a great relationship with our partners and supporters, we are constantly striving to engage more and more people with the club and the sport of rugby league. We can’t wait to welcome more people to the LNER Community Stadium in the coming months and to see more people join us on our journey.
