The grade ll listed Pikeing Well, sometimes known as the lady well, dates back to the 1700s. The Wellhead was built over an existing well. The grotto inspired design features stone flagged floor around the well with steps leading down to it. The Ministry of Health closed the well in 1929, and the iron gates were installed.
