My sister and I discovered the Chakra Therapy Rooms during our recent trip to York, and we’re so glad we did. We both booked the 1.5-hour relaxing full body massage, and honestly, they were some of the best massages we’ve ever had! Everything—from the calming atmosphere to the quality of service—was just perfect. Kerrie and Michelle were absolutely lovely: welcoming, professional, and incredibly skilled. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. I’d 100% book again next time I’m in York from London!
Best massage in york! In fact the best massage I’ve had in the UK. They are so lovely; calm, clear and helpful! The atmosphere is perfect and the massages are second to none. The best way to spend an hour of your life. Highly highly recommend. I come up from London just to get massages here.
I’m a little late leaving this review as my treatment was on October 27, 2023. Firstly Chakra Therapy rooms is such a beautiful place. I loved the fact you take your shoes off downstairs before entering into the relaxing space upstairs. The waiting room upstairs is also a relaxed calming space to get you ready for your treatment. I had the most amazing pregnancy massage by Michelle. I cannot rate her highly enough! It was one of the best massages I’ve had. The room was amazing/relaxing, fairy lights, candles and a beautiful aroma of lemon grass. I couldn’t have felt more relaxed. A pregnancy cushion was placed on the bed so that I wasn’t laying flat, which was very thoughtful. I rate this place very highly. When I am next in York I will definitely have another treatment here.
A place of serenity and deep relaxation from the moment you step in the door. I arrived for a pregnancy massage feeling low and drained and was immediately made to feel comfortable and calm. Michelle was so attentive and made every effort to help me relax and feel at ease. She explained the treatment in detail and made sure I was happy with everything before proceeding. Her massage was deeply relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. She is very experienced and professional and it shows. I left feeling like a new woman and full of joy again. I cannot wait to return.
