Really enjoyed the pop up kitchen, the food was delicious and the atmosphere in the pub is brilliant. Everyone is super friendly, it's very warm and welcoming.
We need to try and keep these types of pub alive! Local, friendly, and dog friendly community hub.
Quick stop for a pint on theakstons. Nice pub and a well kept pint.
Great local country pub. Such a clean space, the toilets were spotless. The beer was fantastic and was very carefully poured in the correct glass for each ale, lager and cider. A lovely atmosphere and very welcoming landlord and landlady. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly, as were the locals. Dog friendly and a gorgeous view from the back beer garden. Excellent place to call for a nice drink!
We were staying locally and called in for a swift one (or two!) on a Thursday mid-afternoon whilst exploring the area. A great pub with a good local crowd around the horseshoe bar having a good banter. Real fires burning added to the ambience. Great tribute to The Fallen as it was just before Remembrance. RESPECT. Highly recommended.
