We had a drive out from Sheffield and found this lovely place for a Sunday Roast. Gorgeous food and chilled, cosy atmosphere. Staff were super friendly and excellent service would recommend and will visit again! Our waitress was a star ⭐️ thank you 🙏🏻❤️
Had a lovely breakfast at this lovely pub this morning... was part of a large group of about 20 and they couldn't do enough for us. Despite the numbers all the food arrived at the same time. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino, and when they realised they didn't have any oat milk someone popped out to buy some for me which was lovely.... nice food, friendly staff and a warm welcome definitely worth a visit 🙂
20 people for Sunday Brunch was a big ask, but thanks to everyone serving and chef, we all had a lovely time. The food was really delicious and the service was faultless. I'll definitely visit again ❤️
Visited Holmfirth with family to show they the sights of Last of Summer Wine. We decided to have lunch in the E&C. Decor is nice, owner behind the bar nice and polite. There was a good pint of beer on tap. We had the lunch of pie of the day which was mince and onion, with homemade chips which was gorgeous. Also the lasagne with garlic bread was fantastic. All food was homemade and from scratch.
Lovely room in great location spoilt by being freezing cold! No heating on when we arrived. It is zero degrees outside and not much warmer in room. Radiator switched on when we arrived. 4 hours later we still need to keep our coats on in room. Dear owner- please switch heating on before your guests arrive so room is up to temperature. We have paid £120 ..this is not good enough!!
