Used to go regularly when the brewery was open but stopped after it shut cos didn't like the black sheep . However last night they had choice of 3 excellent cask beers and was pleased with the upgrade to the tables and chairs. Good to see the same lovely staff again too.
Great bar with locally made ales. Excellent choice if you like real beer. Good atmosphere in there on a Saturday but not over busy.
We held my sisters baby shower here and it was a great space! Plenty of comfy seating for everyone and room for games/activities. Great bar area with a full range of drinks including cocktails, gin & wine. The bartender Callum was friendly and extremely helpful from the beginning to end, even helping us set up the room and he did a great job at keeping all of our drinks filled! Can’t thank Callum & Jack enough for a wonderful afternoon. Overall a great place to hold your event!
Can't fault this place! Great beer, great prices and a happy hour on top! Hear hear other landlords!! This was our first visit to Holmfirth and definitely not our last! It's a real cool place for a beer with good like minded people and friendly staff! Thank you! 5 stars from Nigel and Claire 😊
