This is a review of the beer served. I have just been to the Boot and shoe Scholes, what a fantastic pint of Farmers blond, best I have had. I have now just walked down to the Red Lion to have the worst pint of Farmers Blond, get your act together with your beer please, it's not only cloudy and flat but more expensive?
Great local pub, sun trap beer garden in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended. Check for local talented artist making appearances also.
Called In to the red lion this evening to find a great atmosphere with a very knowledgeable bartender. Opted on the framers blond wow crystals clear pint. This pub knows what there about. Not far off from Holmfirth worth a visit.
Myself and partner had a couple of lovely evenings here during a visit to Jackson Bridge for the weekend. A very cozy pub that made us feel welcome. We loved the beers and the nice conversations with the locals! We would certainly come back.
First ever Visit after traveling past many times. I was very surprised how small the place is! Great atmosphere though, very well decorated and good layout. We booked a large table which put us in a room at the back, I have mixed feelings about this as it was nice to have our own space, the kitchen entrance was in the same room so bustling traffic was coming through constantly and if the door was left open, it was freezing! Food was fantastic though, I had a parmy and although a little well done tasted amazing
