I basically travelled to Holmfirth on a friend's recommendation about Lick and what a fabulous place. The ice cream is delicious with stunning flavours, but the bubble waffle was stupendous and I'm not usually a fan of waffles. The staff were lovely and brought out my ice cream to a bench across the road as I have crutches and would have struggled. I had Pistachio and Cherry Ripple.
With a dairy intolerance I'm used to limited Ice cream options (usually the standard sorbet options) but at Lick there are soooo many delicious options that are just like regular ice creams! The milkshakes are so great too!
Absolutely amazing customer service from start to finish! I contacted Lick on a whim with very specific allergies and the owner was so helpful and patient and we found out I could safely have some of their ice cream flavours! I haven’t been able to eat ice cream in 10 years due to my allergies so made a special trip to collect a special batch of ice cream and take home to enjoy as a 40 week pregnant lady who was DESPERATE for ice cream! The mint choc chip is gorgeous 😍 I’ll be back for more in the future for sure! Thanks so much Lick!
This place is the best vegan ice cream! I love the hot chocolates with squirty cream and marshmallows, the chai lattes, and more importantly, the jammie dodger ice cream!! Omg amazing love 👏
