What a wonderful belated birthday treat!! We have just enjoyed the most delicious lunch at Finlays. Our waitresses Summer and Elle made us very welcome. They provided very attentive service, even to our dog, who was the joyful recipient of a sausage we didn't even ask for! Our food was wonderful and as a special treat I enjoyed oysters and a glass of champagne whilst I waited for our starters and mains. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere at Finlays and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The menu had something for all palletes and budgets. Can't wait to go back.
Visited for our anniversary. Were welcomed by a glass of fizz and decorated table. Had a tapas dish for starter and the steak sharing platter. Finished off with a delicious dessert. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for making the evening so special.
Been wanting to try this place for a while now and wish I'd been sooner. What an absolute gem. Had oysters which were so delicious. Then followed with 6 tapas dishes which were all exceptional, the highlight of which was an amazing carrot and almond dish. Fresh original flavours perfectly executed.. can't wait to come back, despite the fact that one of our waitresses was not friendly or welcoming at all.
Called for a drink after walking down a massive hill. Had a reactive dog with us. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We came back after going into Holmfirth. The food was amazing and the cask ale was well kept. If we are ever in this area again, we will definately go back here.
What a wonderful place for our family reunion. Our Sunday lunch was excellent and the service superb. In the kitchen, Morgan and Jacob were turning out culinary delights. The food and drinks were served by Elle, Emily and Cara. A big well done to all the team for being personable, professional and so helpful. Thank you all so much.
